Bodum Pebo vacuum coffee maker

Bodum Pebo is a fascinating coffee brewer, using the effective vacuum brewing method to extract all precious flavours and oils of your favorite coffee. The vacuum brewing process is entirely sealed off so no aroma can escape. In addition, the brewing time and temperature are perfectly calibrated, ensuring a perfect cup of coffee with each brew. How to use the Bodum Pebo vacuum coffee maker:

1. Pour the required amount of water into the bottom glass jug.
2. Place the jug either on an electric, gas or methylated spirits stove. The glass jug may not be wet on the outside. For gas stoves we recommend that you use a heat diffuser.
3. Insert the filter in the funnel.
4. There is a mall chain on the filter with a hook. Pull the chain gently and secure the hook to the edge of the tube.
5. Place the ground coffee in the funnel. Use one scoop of coffee for each cup.
6. Now place the funnel on the jug and bring the water to a boil.
7. The water will rise into the funnel and mix with the ground coffee. Some water will remain in the glass jug.
8. Now take the Pebo off the heat and place it on a surface which is neither cold nor wet. The coffee is now brewed - the coffee should pass into the lower jug. As soon as the coffee has run out of the funnel into the jug, remove the funnel and the coffee is now ready to drink. (A cold or wet surface might break the hot glass jug).
